Who Is This For?

Space is strictly limited to ensure one-on-one time with Mr. Adly. We are looking for:

  1. Current Players: Bring your Oud for a professional technique assessment.

  2. Aspiring Musicians: If you don’t own an Oud yet but are committed to starting your journey correctly, you are welcome to apply.

  3. Local Salt Lake Residents: You must be able to attend in person at the Highland Dr. location.

After your application is reviewed, you will be invited to experience the School of Oud Online in one of two ways. You may choose a private live one-on-one Zoom assessment with Mr. Ramy Adly to determine your level and receive direct guidance, or request a full pre-recorded sample lesson from our world-class Oud Certificate Program to experience structured learning at your own pace.

Ramy Adly is a world-renowned Oud soloist and a transformative figure in the world of Middle Eastern music education.As an Egyptian-American “master brain” of the instrument, he made history by founding the world’s first University of Oud, establishing a rigorous, four-year academic curriculum that bridges ancient musical traditions with modern pedagogical standards.
